The Baker County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team can't say "thank you" enough to the Sumpter Snowmobile Club for their generous donation! Each year they host the Sumpter Poker Run and donate a portion of the proceeds raised.

We are so grateful to be the recipient of their generosity!

The charities the club gave from this years 2026 Poker Run was Search & Rescue with Travis Ash and Best Friends of Baker City with Mary & Carmen. We gave them both $1500. Thanks again for all the people that came to support the club and that lets us support these charities.

Thanks so much for everything coming and participating and making this (I feel) has been the best one we have had. And please give thanks to our merchants that have donated. If it wasn’t for them, we couldn’t make it happen. Thanks again for coming. Sorry there wasn’t more snow.

This year, it's more than just the teams that will be dividing Super Bowl viewers, but the halftime show, too. As Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny takes the stage as the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer, another event will begin: Turning Point USA's "All-American Halftime Show." Kid Rock — who is among the performers at TPUSA's counter-programming show — admitted it's a "David vs. Goliath" situation to be taking on the NFL and a pop star, but he stood by the conservative organization's goal of "celebrating faith, family, and freedom."
