📢 BUSINESS LICENSE RENEWAL REMINDER

The Town of Sumrall would like to remind all businesses that applications AND all required supporting documentation must be submitted by October 1.

Please be advised of the following:

• Incomplete applications or applications submitted without all required documentation will not be processed, and no permit will be issued until the application is complete and all required documentation has been provided.

• Late fees will be assessed when the completed application and all required documentation are not received by the October 1 deadline. Applicable late fees will continue to accrue until all required information has been submitted.

• Businesses that have closed or ceased operations must notify City Hall promptly. Failure to report a business closure may result in continued assessment of applicable fees, including late fees, until the closure is properly reported.

We encourage all business owners to review their applications and required documentation CLOSELY and submit everything to City Hall before the October 1 deadline to avoid delays, additional fees, or issues with permit issuance.

🚰 Leak Update – The Oaks

Thank you to everyone who called City Hall to report the water leak in The Oaks neighborhood.

We wanted to let everyone know that the leak has been located, and the property owner has been notified so that repairs can be made.

We appreciate our residents for helping us identify issues like this. If you notice a water leak or other concern around town, please don't hesitate to contact City Hall. Working together helps keep Sumrall running smoothly!

The Town of Sumrall kindly asks residents to please keep grass clippings out of the streets and storm drains. Those little green escapees can create slippery conditions for motorcycles and bicycles and clog drains, causing drainage issues. Help us keep our roads safe and our drains clear!

City Hall's Clerks are happy to accept court fine payments, but all other court business must go through the Municipal Court Clerk. We may wear many hats around here, but unfortunately, we're not Alexa—we can't answer every question! 😂
