Well, of course Cecil’s birthday follows Brandon’s — because even the universe knows the ultimate fixers need to stick together.

Cecil is the second member of our legendary trio of fixers, and honestly, we’d be completely lost without him. He’s the ultimate repairman with a heart purer than gold and a smile brighter than all the fair lights combined. Nothing stays broken for long around Cecil — not equipment, not bad days, not even our questionable decisions. Just being in the same building as him is enough to lift your spirits; his joy is so contagious it should probably come with a warning label.

Cecil has been with the fair longer than any of us can count and is also our Post’s immediate past commander. We all love this man more than words can say, and the whole community would be in serious trouble without his magic toolbox and even bigger heart.

Happy Birthday, Cecil — thanks for keeping everything (and everyone) running so beautifully! 🎉

Our thoughts and prayers are with The Danella Family during this time of loss. Mr. Danella has always been a huge supporter of our Fair, and has been a vendor for countless years at our annual fair. We will definitely miss seeing him on our midway and catching up.

Join us in wishing Brandon a happy 21st birthday!

(Yes, 21st. The man that somehow also has a granddaughter and ten community kids running around like it’s the Wild West.)

If you don’t know Brandon — or his alter ego Brennan — he’s one of our two fair managers and 1/3 of the legendary Trio of Fixers. These guys can repair anything: tractors, lights, bad decisions, your entire life at 2 a.m. with nothing but duct tape, caffeine, and questionable life choices.

In his so-called “free time,” Brandon is:
Wrangling one (or more) of his 10 community children, enjoying the day with his first grandchild — the official Fair Committee Grandchild and undisputed Supreme Overlord of this entire operation (we all just work here), or standing there with a serene, slightly traumatized smile next to his partner-in-crime Dale while their wives drag them across the world like very patient, slightly confused suitcases.

We’d be completely, gloriously, catastrophically lost without him. The fair would probably just be a field with three confused goats and a broken generator by now.

Happy 21st, Brandon — may your next trip around the sun involve more travels and extra funnel cake! You’re an absolute legend.
