SCFMD currently had two paramedic students completing their field internships with our crews. During a recent shift, Alexis had questions about how to differentiate a left bundle branch block from a true occlusion myocardial infarction.

Instead of just talking through it, she turned it into a teaching opportunity by presenting Sgarbossa Criteria to the crew. It was a great way for her to strengthen her own understanding while also giving our crews a valuable refresher on a complex EKG interpretation topic.

Great job, Alexis! We are proud to support the next generation of paramedics while continuing to build knowledge and skill within our own crews.

📚🎒 FINAL WEEK TO DONATE! 🎒📚

The Sun City Firefighters Charities team is in the final week of collecting new, unopened school supplies for the students at Discover U Elementary School!

As families get ready for the new school year, many students still need the basic supplies to start the year off with confidence. This year, the school has also shared a special need for clear backpacks, and we'd love to help make sure every student is ready for day one.

You can drop off donations at any of our locations:
