Join us TODAY (Tuesday, June 23) at 1:00 PM as we chat with Sana Javeri Kadri and Asha Loupy about The Diaspora Spice Co. Cookbook, celebrating beautiful, simple, and seasonal cooking with 85 recipes adapted from India and Sri Lanka’s best family spice farms.

Diaspora Spice Co. sources spices from 150 regenerative farms across South Asia. From elders, indigenous communities, young changemakers, and brilliant multi-generational farming families across India and Sri Lanka, these spices recognize those leading the way in sustainable and climate change resistant agriculture.

Tuesday at 11:15 AM - Big Kid Storytime
Thursdays at 6:30 PM - Family Storytime

Spanish Storytime is on pause, but we hope it will resume in July on Tuesdays at 5:00 PM.

🤔Did you know? ANYONE can sign up for our Summer Reading Program... Even if you're only 1 day old!

We have programs for Infants/Toddlers, Youth, Teens, and Adults! Register for the Summer Reading Program in person or online anytime until August 8.

Record your reading on a paper log or in the Beanstack app. Log books (titles) or minutes (time) – whatever works best for you!

The more you read, the more prizes you earn! Complete 75 books, 12 hours, or 15 hours (for teens) to earn all the prizes, a pass to the exclusive Library Pool Party in August, and your “Library Champion”

🥁Follow the sound of the drums to the Kind Stage & Amphitheater on Wednesday, June 24th! Shows are at 1:30 or 3:00 PM. If there is inclement weather, the show will move into the Community Room.

Drum Power provides drum and dance development/exploration to children and youth focusing on its socio-emotional pillars: discipline, community, and leadership. These life skills are the explicit focus of all the West African Traditional, Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian drum and dance lessons and performance, music skill development work, problem solving and practice as individual musicians and members of an ensemble/community.
