Koo Koo Summer Kickoff! Saturday, June 13
SHOWTIMES: 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM
Koo Koo is described as “the Beastie Boys meet Sesame Street,” and billed as a sassy, interactive, dance party duo with bangers for all ages!

Activities from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Have fun with games, crafts, and more both inside and outside the Library! Face painting by Antsy Pants Face Painting will be on site and available for free to all, thanks to the Friends of the Sun Prairie Public Library.

If you get hungry, food trucks (Guimo’s, Kona Ice, Primal Cue) will be on site, with food available for purchase.

Thanks to the SPPL Foundation for their generous support of Koo Koo Summer Kickoff and the Summer Reading Program.

All library programs are free and open to the public.

Massively excited to announce the first Kind Stage music lineup! Incredible local music from amazing artists from the Madison area and beyond. And it's all FREE! Shows are Monday evenings, with opening act starting at 6:30, main act finished by 8:30. A great way to end your summer days, starting on June 8! We are thrilled to invite you to our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, May 29, which is the culmination of our 23 month Expansion and Renovation project.

Opening remarks will begin at 8:30 AM in the Library Atrium, with special guest Sam Helmick, American Library Association (ALA) president. The formal ribbon cutting will be at 9 AM. Refreshments will follow in the Atrium, and then we invite all attendees to explore our new spaces!

Attention Sun Prairie EAST spring athletes!

In this program, athletes will learn:
- "what does enough protein mean and look like"
- Types of foods that will support workouts, competition day and recovery
- How to support their bodies through nutrition and achieve goals (recognizing some sports ask athletes to "bulk up" while others require endurance.
- Sample food! (UW Health supplying)
- Go home with recipes easy enough for all student athletes to make at home!

There will be two programs offered this spring, one intended for West spring athletes and one for East athletes. East will be on Monday, May 4th from 5:15-6:16, a flyer and RSVP QR code is attached. Please share with your teams and ask that any athletes interested in attending RSVP as we are also asking for any food allergies to ensure all get a chance to sample.
