Firemen's Park in the Prairie (Sun Prairie Dream Park) was built in 2007 by a group of volunteers. It is a non-profit playground not funded by the city but is open to children and adults of all abilities.

Our beloved fire engine is getting a face lift this week! We are so excited to show you the final version which will feature tributes to Cory Barr who not only gave the ultimate sacrifice to our community but also volunteered during the dream park build week. We appreciate your patience this week as the area is fenced off and our muralist is hard at work!

SO MANY people to thank for another successful Dine in the Dream Park tonight! THANK YOU Beans n Cream Coffeehouse, Glass Nickel Pizza Co. - Sun Prairie, and Guimo's for providing amazing food and donating a portion of their sales. THANK YOU Prairie Music & Arts and the Parks Rec Go-Cart, Explore Children's Museum of Sun Prairie, Burn Boot Camp - Sun Prairie, WI, Sun Prairie Education Foundation, Sun Prairie Utilities Radiant Smiles Face Painting and CI Pediatric Therapy Centers for providing fantastic children’s activities. Special shout out to Exchange Club of Sun Prairie for surprising us and showing up with a generous donation to the dream park 🥹🥰
