Today, nearly 50 Granite Staters gathered outside of Governor Ayotte’s office for a community read-in and to urge her to veto SB 434, which targets Granite Staters freedom to read.

The right to free expression includes the freedom to read whatever we choose and Governor Ayotte must veto this bill, just as she did last year.

🎉 Great news! David Trumble has officially filed to run for NH Senate District 8! David is ready to serve and fight for the values that matter to Sunapee and the communities across the District.🙌

It's official. I signed up to run for State Senate in district 8, a beautiful rural district made up of 20 towns.
Let's work together to make all NH communities a place where people can settle down and make a life and stay. This means strong public schools, accessible health care including mental health care for all, affordable housing and child care, and support for the arts and agriculture, a healthy environment and respect for everyone.

Lawmakers will be back for one more session to deal with Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s vetoes, and although it appears very unlikely, there is always the possibility of a special session for one emergency or another.

Good news for NH! A win for democracy and allowing people to vote.

A federal judge struck down New Hampshire’s new law requiring hard-copy proof of citizenship for voter registration Thursday, finding it unconstitutional, in a move that could stop its implementation for the midterm elections.
