This Week in Kingston Twp:
The Zoning Commission will have a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 7 at 7 PM.

The Board of Trustees will have a special meeting on Thursday, October 8 at 4:30 PM. The purpose of this special meeting is to continue the Solid Waste RFB Evaluation Process - Phase II and Phase III with Intent to Award. This process will include all the received solid waste RFBs that have been determined to have met all of the mandatory minimum technical requirements from Phase I of the RFB Evaluation Process during the October 6th regular meeting. The Board will also consider other business following the evaluation of the solid waste bids, including: silo mural painting, potential re-appointment of Zoning Commission member Jim Grove, and discussing the process for appointment of a Fiscal Officer. Both meetings will be held at 4063 Carter's Corner Road, Sunbury, Ohio 43074.

Two Upcoming Road Closures in Kingston Township:
--Blue Church Rd. (north apron) at SR-521 - The north apron of Blue Church Rd. at SR-521 will be closed for a culvert repair starting Monday, August 31 - Friday, September 4. Traffic will not be interrupted on SR-521.

ODOT released the preferred Rt 23 and I-71 connector route, which greatly impacts Kingston Township residents. Watch the recap video ODOT published below and come with your questions on Thursday, August 6 at the Ag Center at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. There will be no formal presentation but there will be representatives to answer your questions. Come anytime between 12 and 2 PM or between 4 and 6 PM.
