A new updated Zoning Code is being presented! There are several Zoning updates that will help shape our Township and we need your input! The Draft Code is posted for download on our website

We will be having a Public Hearing on September 15th at 7pm at the township hall to get feedback on the new amended zoning code. This is a vital step for residents have a say in how they want their township to look in the future. Our Zoning Commission has been hard at work to provide serious updates to the Code. This is a chance to have input on your vision for the Porter Township. This Code hasn't been updated since 2010. Please take some time to review this crucial document and bring your comments to the public hearing. Please like and share with all township residents

Roadwork update!

Please be aware that Stockwell Road will be closed on Monday August 31st for a widening project. Detours are posted. Detour routes may see increased traffic so pedestrians and road users please be aware. Construction is slated to end around October 15th, 2026 pending weather and any unforeseen delays.

The Porter Township Trustees are pleased to announce the following Hall Rental dates for our local Kountry Kids 4H Club! The Hall will be unavailable to rent on these dates.

Please the below message for Rumpke trash collection for this week.

Due to inclement weather we have made the decision to not run service on Monday and we will be operating on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.

We expect to be caught up on service by end of day Saturday and will return to your regular pickup schedule next week.
