The League of Women Voters of Delaware County is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to encouraging informed and active participation in government. Their work includes voter education, voter registration, and helping residents better understand the issues that impact Delaware County and our communities.

We’re excited to have them as part of our Chamber membership and look forward to helping connect them with the Sunbury and Big Walnut community.

Happy Labor Day from the Sunbury Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce!

Today, we celebrate the hardworking individuals, business owners, employees, and organizations who help make our community such a great place to live, work, and do business.

The Chamber office will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.

Sunbury DORA Starts Today!

The Sunbury Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) is officially here!

Starting Friday, September 4, adults 21+ can enjoy an alcoholic beverage while exploring the designated DORA area in downtown Sunbury.

How it works:
Purchase an alcoholic beverage from one of our participating restaurants. Your beverage must be purchased from a participating establishment and served in an official DORA cup before you can take it outside and enjoy it within the DORA boundaries.

Participating establishments:
• Firehouse Sunbury
• District 13
• SURVE
• Branch Pizza

DORA Hours:
Monday–Sunday | 12:00 PM–9:00 PM

Please stay within the designated DORA boundaries and enjoy responsibly.

DORA Blackout Dates:
• Memorial Day Flea Market
• 4th of July Celebrations
• Labor Day Flea Market (Monday only)
• Sunbury Sizzle & Sounds

We are excited to introduce Jessica Colvin, one of the newest members of the Sunbury Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors!

Jessica has been teaching music for more than 20 years and has a passion for helping others learn, grow, and discover their talents. She began playing piano at just four years old and also has a lifelong love of singing and acting.

Jessica holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University and has performed in numerous productions and concerts throughout the United States and abroad. She is also the owner of Blackbird Expressions, Performing Arts Studio, where she shares her love of music and the performing arts with others.

We are excited to have Jessica bring her creativity, experience, and enthusiasm to the Chamber Board and look forward to all she will contribute to our Chamber and community.

This week, we are proud to spotlight Sunbury Big Walnut Kiwanis, a Chamber member dedicated to serving children and strengthening our community.

Kiwanis members give their time and talents to support local youth, schools, families, and community organizations. Their mission is simple but powerful: improving the world, one child and one community at a time.

A great example of their community involvement is the annual Labor Day Flea Market Sunbury Ohio on the Historic Sunbury Square!
