We are incredibly proud of the results achieved during the FY2025 grant cycle! These numbers represent the dedication of the departments we work with and the critical investments being made to strengthen fire and EMS services.

💰 1 FP&S Project - $17,574.00
🛠️ 62 Operations & Safety Projects - $7,003,809.57
🚒 9 Vehicle Projects - $4,133,000.00
👨‍🚒 6 SAFER Grants - Hiring 24 firefighters - $8,564,550.21

🇺🇸 TOTAL PROJECT AWARDS: $19,718,933.78 🇺🇸

🌎 OUR REACH:
• 51 agencies

🇺🇸 NATIONWIDE FIRST RESPONDER GRANTS - OHIO RESULTS

Our impact in Ohio is especially exciting:

👨‍🚒 6 agencies received SAFER grants totaling $8,564,550 representing 87% of the federal funds awarded to Ohio for SAFER.

🚒 5 vehicles totaling $2,222,857 representing 48% of the federal funding awarded to Ohio for vehicle projects.

We are proud to help departments across the country secure funding that directly supports firefighters, EMS providers, equipment, vehicles, training, and the communities they serve.

🚒 GRANT AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚒

Congratulations to Lafayette Township Fire Department in Anderson, Indiana, on being awarded a FEMA grant to purchase a new grass truck and update equipment to better serve the residents of Lafayette Township and the surrounding communities!

This investment will give their firefighters the tools they need to respond effectively and continue protecting their community.

🎉 A HUGE MILESTONE FOR NFRG! 🎉

We’re excited to celebrate with Barton Fire Department, Bethesda Fire Department, and Colerain Volunteer Fire Company on being awarded a $636,363 Regional FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG)!

Led by Cumberland Trail Fire District #4, this regional project was a true team effort between all participating departments and Nationwide First Responder Grants.

This award will allow each department to purchase new cardiac monitors, improving patient care while helping save local tax dollars.

We’re incredibly proud of the teamwork that made this award possible. Congratulations to all of the departments involved!

We are happy to announce in collaboration with Barton Fire Department, Bethesda Fire Department and Colerain Volunteer Fire Company we were notified that our Regional Assistance to Firefighters Grant through FEMA was awarded in the amount of $636,363.00. TWO GRANT AWARDS. ONE HUGE IMPACT!

Congratulations to Dafter Township Fire Department on being awarded TWO FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grants totaling $490,780.94!

💰 $449,523.80 — New Tanker
💦 $41,257.14 — New Fire Hose & Nozzles

These awards will replace aging equipment, improve firefighter safety, and strengthen Dafter Township’s ability to protect the community and support mutual-aid partners.
