🚒 Another Successful Grant Project Brought to Life! 🚒

It is incredibly rewarding to see a successful grant application turn into something that will directly benefit a fire department and the community it serves.

Thanks to a successful FY2023 AFG award, Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District was able to purchase this 2026 Rosenbauer customized Warrior chassis, featuring:

🔥 1,500 GPM fire pump
💧 2,000-gallon water tank
🫧 Class A foam system
🧰 Full-length, full-depth rescue-style compartmentation

Most importantly, this new apparatus replaces a 42-year-old piece of fire service history and will provide Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District with the capabilities needed to continue protecting its community for years to come.

There is nothing better than seeing the hard work that goes into the grant process result in equipment that makes a real difference. Congratulations to Southwestern Hancock Joint Fire District on this incredible addition to their fleet!

🎉❤️ Today marks a huge milestone… our 12th Anniversary! ❤️🎉

Twelve years ago, I set out with a simple mission: to help fire departments get the funding they need to better serve their communities.

Over the past 12 years, here’s what we’ve accomplished together:

📄 1,185 Applications Submitted
🏆 306 Agencies Awarded
🇺🇸 8 States Represented
🚒 129 Career Firefighter Positions Acquired via the SAFER Grant
💰 $130 Million in Funding Secured

None of this would be possible without the incredible agencies and clients who have trusted us, our amazing partners, and the first responders who never stop showing up for their communities.

We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, but we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.

Here’s to 12 years of impact… and many more to come!

Thank you for allowing Nationwide First Responder Grants to be part of your journey.

I and my team have worked tirelessly to make NFRG the absolute best, most ethical and integrity-driven public safety grant writing agency in existence. So, I take it really personal when someone else tries to swoop in and deceive their way into the success we've created through hard work and sacrifice!

Yet again, I find myself having to waste time to call out yet another member of the public safety community for sacrificing ethics and integrity in search of the almighty dollar!

They say that imitation is the finest form of flattery. However, copying my teams hard work, nearly word for word and then billing one of my clients for "his work" is absolutely inexcusable.

Today's lack of ethics and integrity award goes out to David Moulden, the Wayne Township (Clermont County, Ohio) Administrator, and I believe member of the Wayne Township Fire Department.

When contacted about this action, Mr. Moulden stated "I didn't copy your work, I "adapted" it!"

No, sir, what you did was absolutely copy my work and tried to pass it off as your own. It was so much alike that when I brought it to my client's attention, they were absolutely flabbergasted to learn of the problem. The situation was further exacerbated when they received his bill for $1,500.

I'm just spit-balling here, but when you plagiarize someone else's work, pass it off as your own, and then bill an entity for said "work", that pretty much violates Ohio Revised Code 2913.02 a.k.a Theft by Deception. In this case the amount in which he billed for the action listed above could potentially rise to the level of a 5th degree felony. I guess it will be up to the client board of trustees and county prosecutor as to whether or not they decide to pursue charges.

Rest assured folks, if you are caught by me, or if it is brought to my attention that you're doing something like this in the dark, I promise you I will aim at you the brightest spotlight I have available!

Congratulations, Mr. Moulden, you're now Facebook famous!
