Due to Hurricane Milton, city parks including Heritage Park will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, and remain closed until further notice.
As Hurricane Milton moves across the Gulf, the City of Sunny Isles Beach has issued a Declaration of Local Emergency. We are currently under a Tropical Storm Warning with a potential for heavy rainfall, gusty wind and flooding.
All City facilities, including the Government Center, Pelican Community Park, and Gateway Center will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9 and Thursday, Oct. 10.
All parks will close starting Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. until further notice.
Newport Fishing Pier will close starting Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. until further notice.
All City programs, events, and activities are canceled starting today, Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
SIBshuttle service will be suspended on Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 12 p.m. until further notice.
Free parking is available for Sunny Isles Beach residents at the Gateway Park Garage, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd. until further notice.
