The Bishop PTA invites our community of families, teachers & staff (past, present & future) to join our page to stay connected & informed.

Bishop Elementary School is a public school in the Sunnyvale School District, grades K-5, located in Sunnyvale, California. This site is intended to help the Bishop Parent Teacher Organization share information about the events & activities happening within our school and to help build a stronger community.

🥰 Our Bishop teachers and staff were treated to breakfast this week by the PTA to show our appreciation for their support! 🍳🥞 Thanks to our PTA for making this happen, and for our school community for supporting our PTA! 📣 Join us for a Community Forum to learn about our plans for Bishop's new proposed School Focus next Wednesday January 22, 6-7:00 PM. 📣The Exploration Team will share about where we have been, where we are now, and where we recommend going. There will be an opportunity to provide input and also a time to ask questions. We hope you can join us!

Get out your dancing shoes, the Bishop Bobcat Ball is around the corner! Join us on Friday, January 24, from 5:30-8pm in the School Cafeteria.

Tickets are $7 each and will be sold on the blacktop before and after school on Thursday (1/16) and before school on Friday (1/17). Cash or PayPal will be accepted. Tickets are limited, so come fast!

🌍🌎🌏 Come travel the world at the Bishop Multicultural Night, next Friday, November 15th from 5-7:30pm in the cafeteria! 🧳✈️ We're still looking for volunteers to craft country boards. 🙋Let us know if you're interested and the Bishop PTA can give you a poster board! We will also have a community potluck, please sign up to bring a dish to share. 🌮🍝🥙🍜

At Friday's PTA meeting, Superintendent Michael Gallagher and Trustee Bridget Watson presented about Measure Y, the Sunnyvale School District Parcel Tax Renewal. Bishop Elementary PTA voted to endorse Measure Y. ✅

Please join us in supporting Measure Y by:
-Coming to the "Yes on Measure Y" kickoff TOMORROW at Washington Park from 4-6pm. 🎉
-Helping at the "block walk" flyer distribution on September 28 at 9am.
- Spread the word to your neighbors to vote "Yes on Measure Y"
