Support from the Autism Services Council and the Florida Support Autism Programs specialty license plate is helping organizations across Florida create more opportunities for individuals with autism, including HDS Foundation.

Through BRIDGING the Gap: Empowering Students with Autism, 43 high school students are gaining hands-on experience in independence, social skills and everyday life through community outings and school-based activities. The program is opening doors to greater confidence and real-world readiness.

Thanks to the Autism Services Council and the Florida Support Autism Programs specialty license plate, grants are making a lasting impact for organizations supporting the autism community across Florida. Today, we’re excited to spotlight North East Educational and Developmental Support Center Inc (NEEDS Center)!

Through their NEEDS Center Interactive Learning Initiative, adults with autism are gaining new opportunities to learn, connect and grow. By incorporating SMART Board technology into their Florida Day Program, 42 participants are engaging in interactive, visual lessons that support communication, daily living skills, and social development.

Across Florida, the Autism Services Council and the Florida Support Autism Programs specialty license plate are making a meaningful difference by funding programs that empower individuals with autism. Today, we’re excited to highlight The Arc Gateway!

Their Healing Through Art: Art Therapy program offers a supportive space where individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities can explore creativity while building communication and social skills. Through weekly sessions featuring painting, mixed media, clay and group projects, 40 participants are developing confidence, connection and emotional awareness.

Thanks to the Autism Services Council and the Florida Support Autism Programs specialty license plate, grants are helping organizations across Florida expand opportunities for individuals with autism. Today, we’re proud to spotlight Cedar Bridge Foundation!

Their Bridge to the Future: Cooking with Confidence program empowers adults with autism to build independence through hands-on cooking instruction. With support from autism license plate funding, 30 participants are gaining confidence and real-world skills that extend beyond the kitchen.
