The West Broward Democratic Club meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month via ZOOM. We are chartered by the Florida Democratic Party and are an active member of The Council of Democratic Clubs and Caucuses, where our President serves as their Vice President and past president.

CONGRATULATIONS to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on her spectacular win tonight. She will continue to serve ALL the people of Broward County.

Today, Broward County residents made it clear that they want an experienced fighter who works non-stop to lower costs, shows up and delivers real results for our communities, and never backs down to Trump and his cruel, corrupt agenda. I’m proud voters decisively backed this campaign to continue to fight on their behalf in Washington.

Our campaign galvanized an unstoppable coalition of energized congregations, unions, LGBTQ+ advocates and proud Black, Caribbean and Hispanic communities, and we did it in the face of a rushed, brazenly illegal Republican gerrymander. Voters showed their strong unity by ensuring Broward’s formidable Democratic political power in Washington stays intact. And what drives Democrats’ work in Congress is to make food, housing, and healthcare more affordable, and fiercely protect our democracy.
