Suquamish Elementary's annual Vocabulary Parade was, by definition, a great time! 📚

Students chose a vocabulary word or saying, created a sign, and dressed up as their word before taking the parade through the streets of Suquamish on Friday afternoon. Families and community members lined the route to cheer them on, and the creativity on display was truly impressive.

Thank you to our local police for keeping everyone safe by blocking off roads and escorting the parade, and to every community member who came out to support and cheer on our students!

Things are starting to move for our upcoming remodel!

We may have missed the photo op, but we certainly didn't miss the fun! Today was our April PBIS Reward for students who arrived prepared every day this month—backpacks, homework, and "ready to learn" mindsets in tow.

A massive shout-out to our 4th and 5th graders! They stepped up as incredible mentors, helping our Kinders and 1st graders navigate several rounds of BINGO. It was heartwarming to see our older students leading the way.

Huge thanks to our staff for navigating today’s "controlled chaos" with a smile. Next up: May is all about Attendance! Students who are on time with one or fewer absences this month will be invited to our first-ever AttenDANCE party! 💃🕺
