Over the weekend you may see some new faces on medic 31. Over the last couple days firefighter/paramedic Chad DuBarr and firefighter/emt Jacob Smith closed out their last shifts on medic 31.

Chad Dubarr a 5 year veteran of medic 31 will be headed to station 1.

Jacob Smith will be headed to Station 7 .

We will be welcoming Firefighter/paramedic Ryan Fernandez and Firefigter/emt Jason Kotterman to their respected shift.

Please avoid the area of Dick Pond Road and Sayebrook Parkway, as a three-vehicle accident has traffic significantly slowed.

This call was dispatched to Horry County Fire Rescue at 11:06 a.m.

Five people signed medical waivers and will not be transported to the hospital.

South Carolina Department of Public Safety is on scene.

SCEMD will activate the state’s Integrated Public Alert and Warning System shortly before 5 p.m. today, April 7, 2020. You may receive a Civil Emergency Message on your mobile device as well as through broadcast TV and radio.
