The Surry County Sheriff's Office stands in support of the Carroll County County Sheriff's Office following the tragic incident that claimed the life of Deputy Logan Utt and left another wounded in the line of duty.

We join our law enforcement family in mourning this profound loss and honoring the extraordinary sacrifice made in service to his community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the fallen deputy, the injured deputy, and every member of the Carroll County Sheriff's Office as they navigate this difficult time.
