Event: Free Train Ride - A Journey for Dads and Kids!
Event: Fatherhood Initiative - Jersey Brunch!

These events are sponsored by Surry County Department of Social Services and targeted towards fathers and father figures. We plan to have at least 58 train tickets, including children, fathers/father figures and chaperones for this event. Transportation to the train station, in Williamsburg, will also be provided. We are asking potential participants to attend our Jersey Brunch to learn about our fatherhood initiative for a chance to go on the train ride.

Double Occupancy: $776.98 per person
Triple Occupancy: $661.82 per person
Quadruple Occupancy: $637.23 per person

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Monthly payments are as follows:
Double Occupancy: $258.99 each due on March 14, 2025, April 5, 2025, and May 1, 2025
Triple Occupancy: $227.94 each due on March 14, 2025, April 5. 2025 and May 1, 2025
Quadruple Occupancy: $212.41 each due on March 14, 2025, April 5, 2025, and May 2025
Includes cost of Dinner Shows and Breakfast at the hotel (Hampton Inn) on June 25, 2025

Cash payments will not be accepted. Make checks and money orders payable to the Treasurer of Surry County.

**BURN BAN IN EFFECT**
Due to current weather conditions that have created an excessive risk of brush fires, Surry County has enacted a countywide burn ban. This ban is in effect immediately and will last until April 30, 2025. This is earlier than the statewide burn ban, which normally begins on February 15th. Please follow all state burn ban guidelines.
