Now is a great time to share the message with a person or 2, everyone appreciates the night skies.

Are you ready for spring migration?

Next week is our official spring migration kickoff! Time to turn out non-essential lighting and/or following DarkSky Texas lighting recommendations to keep warm, shielded light pointing downward where you need it or on a motion sensor. Since many migratory birds fly at night, turning out lights helps them make their journey!

Migrants, like Barn Swallows, have already been spotted. What migrants have you been seeing?
