We had 61 kiddos attend this week. We’re closed today for Juneteenth so we had to double up on some classes. Thanks parents and guardians for bringing your kiddos at a different time this week and I apologize to those that missed this week. We’re back to regular hours next week. We made pterodactyls, made mineral exchange fossils, and we added vinegar to dissolve baking soda eggs to discover dinosaur skeletons. We also had two special guest dinosaurs yesterday! I don’t have the checkouts yet but I’ll get back to you on that!

I have been so busy I forgot to post last weeks pictures from summer reading. We had 78 kiddos attend. There was VBS and swimming lessons which kept people busy. We made shadow dinosaurs and life sized dinosaurs. We’re also competing to see which class can check out the most books every week. Fridays ages 0-4 won this week with 24 books!

We will be closed tomorrow for Juneteenth Day. We will be back open on Saturday 9-12.

We will be closed Friday for Juneteenth. If your kiddo attends Fridays, they can attend a different summer reading day this week. Ages 0-4 meet Tuesdays 10:30-11 and ages 5-8 meet Tuesdays 11-11:45 or Thursdays 11-11:45. Ages 5-12 are doing very messy science experiments so please dress accordingly. Thank you!

I would like to thank everyone that has donated to the Sutherland Public Library for this years summer reading program! If you mailed something directly from Amazon and haven't heard a shout out or a thank you from me, please let me know! I must have setup the wishlist differently this year and I'm not receiving the "gift from" papers inside the boxes that I did last year. I want to make sure everyone is acknowledged!

Our community never fails to impress me! I had 18 big packages to pick up at the post office yesterday! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! This is all for our summer reading program. We have 112 kids registered! There’s still room for every age.
