When the plastic recycling bins were taken to North Platte today, it was discovered that there was a lot of Styrofoam stuffed in the bins. The recycling center will not take it like that. If more Styrofoam is found in the recycling bins, they will be locked, and the recycling will be discontinued. Please only place accepted items in the bins.

Johnson Service will be working along Second Street today and in the alley area behind the motel and running to the old fire hall.

Johnson Service is working in the area near/around the office today. If possible, please close toilet lids.

Johnson Service is working in town jetting the sewers. Please close your toilet lids just in case of air coming through your pipes! They are currently on Pine Street and will be working in the surrounding area today.

We are updating some of our community information in the office. If you have properties that you rent out and would like to be included on our landlord list, please get updated contact information to us! Some of the numbers we have are not working anymore.

To everyone who gets an email bill: We aren't sure why the format has changed, and have reached out to support about it. All the information regarding account numbers and charges is correct. Not sure why it says "HomeTown Municipal Utility" at the top, but we are working on figuring it out and fixing it!
