The 38th Anniversary Sutherlin Blackberry Festival is officially off and running, and the excitement is palpable throughout our community. Event brochures are available at the Vistors Center located at 1310 E Central Ave. either in the clear bin outside or inside during business hours, which are 10 - 2pm on Saturday.
While I was out, I was able to capture a few photos as the vendor booths were setting up, the food trucks were rolling in and I picked up my Blackberry T-shirts and tickets for that beautiful ride!
As you enjoy the festivities, please keep an eye out for the recycle cans labeled STRONG Cans for Kids, conveniently placed throughout the festival grounds. Your donation of a bottle or can not only helps keep our parks clean but also directly supports the Lion's Club efforts in helping local kids. Every contribution makes a meaningful impact, and your participation is truly valued.
