SCPD DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE WAS A HIT!

Last Saturday night, the Sutter Creek Police Foundation sponsored our first annual Daddy-Daughter Dance.

Everyone had a great time and some of the dads, uncles and grandpas learned some new dance moves from the younger generation.

Thank you for attending and supporting the important relationship between dads and daughters.

A BIG THANKS TO OFFICER AL CASIAS AND KRISTINA CASIAS WHO WERE THE DRIVING FORCE BNHIND TURNING AN IDEA INTO THIS GREAT EVENT.

SUTTER CREEK POLICE FOUNDATION HOSTING A DADDY-DAUGHTER DANCE !@

Daddy-Daughter Dance is coming to the Sutter Creek Auditorium!

Join us on Saturday, September 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a fun night of music, dancing, light refreshments, and quality time together.

This event is open to the entire Sutter Creek community, as well as anyone else throughout Amador County who would like to attend. The cost is $30 per dad or father figure, and all daughters attend free. Whether you are bringing one, two, or four daughters, they are all welcome!

Dads, grandpas, uncles, brothers, and other important father figures are welcome to attend.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE AMADOR SHERIFF’S OFFICE !

Today the Amador Sheriff’s Office, current and former staff included, completed a much needed jail expansion and held a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the accomplishment.

Sheriff Gary Redman, former Sheriff Martin Ryan, project manager Captain Adam Stone and county employees and elected officials overcame many obstacles to complete the construction.

HIGH SCHOOL INCIDENT RESOLVED

This morning SCPD responded to Amador HS on a threats call involving students.

SCPD met with staff and the student purportedly making threats and later took the student into custody.

Because the student lived outside of Sutter Creek city limits, the Amador Sheriff’s Department responded to the home and completed the off site investigation.

We thank the high school staff and the Amador Sheriff’s Office for their quick actions and willingness to collaborate.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT WAS A HOT TIME ON MAIN STREET

Sutter Creek PD, Sutter Creek Fire, Victory Village VA and Amador County Public Health were pleased to host National Night Out earlier tonight in front of City Hall.

The bbq was exceptional, the waters and sodas were ice cold and the company was even better.

This evening while on patrol, SCPD Officer Kris Stevens came across a group of young entrepreneurs. She stopped and hung out for a while, and had a nice cool beverage.

Please stop tomorrow for National Night Out at City Hall, 18 Main Street, Sutter Creek from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Bring the kids, bring an appetite and any questions or feedback for your police department and fire department.

Amador Public Health will be here to answer questions and to give out bike helmets. Victory Village will also be joining us to help with any veteran concerns and questions.
