Sutton volunteer EMS is looking for individuals interested in becoming an EMT for Sutton Ambulance. All expenses for the class and licensure is paid for. Must be 18 years of age. Class starts in August! For more information call Marla at City Hall 402-410-0077 or Linda at 847-732-9412. Don’t want to take the class? You can still volunteer, we are also looking for people who would be interested in driving the ambulance, helping out with scheduled maintenance and administrative work. For those who are interested in volunteering with the Sutton EMS ambulance, we are having an orientation meeting at city hall next week, Thursday august 10, at 6:00 pm. We will provide information on the EMT class ( for those wishing to become an EMT), plus specific information on volunteering for Sutton. We are also looking for volunteers to help with driving and lifting, so if you would like to help but don’t want to take the class, I invite you to attend the meeting as well. Sutton rescue service is looking for volunteers interested in becoming an EMT for our ambulance service. The class starts in August, if you’re interested and want more information reach out to city hall at 402-773-4225. Don’t want to take the EMT class but still interested in volunteering? On Thursday, March 31, the Sutton Boy Scouts joined us for an evening of first aid safety learning. Scouts were broken up into groups to learn CPR; look through their first aid kits to see if anything was missing; and learn emergency awareness/emergency preparedness.
