Braxton County Emergency Ambulance Service Authority (BCEASA) is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Director.

EMS Director – Job Posting

This person will work directly with the BCEASA Board and the Braxton County Commission.

Candidates need a minimum of three years of field experience or public safety administration experience and/or minimum of three years experience as an EMT-B, EMT-P, or higher and be in good standing with the State of WV; also, must have excellent communication and time management skills. Two years of supervisory experience is preferred; as well as knowledge of budget preparation and control.

Packets with more information on job requirements, duties, and benefits will be available at the BCEASA office between the hours of 8am – 4pm Monday thru Friday. BCEASA is an equal opportunity employer.

Pay commensurate with experience.

On the evening of June 25, 2025, several Braxton County Volunteer Fire Departments will be conducting a training exercise at Braxton County High School. This important drill will include multiple fire trucks, featuring the department’s new ladder truck!

Please note: This is only a training exercise—there is no emergency, and the BCHS facilities are completely safe.

We are grateful for our dedicated local firefighters and proud to support their ongoing training efforts by providing a location for this valuable exercise.

As the sun rises on this beautiful Sunday morning, National EMS Week 2025 comes to a close. We wish to thank everyone who stopped by, shared a story, or donated to our crews. And most of all, thank you to the people behind the patch who respond to the call to help their fellow man.

Pizza-Hot and ready as promised...The crew was met with big smiles from Nate, Mel, and Jeff while picking up their lunch today courtesy of Little Caesars and GoMart corporate office. What a great group of staff at both facilities.
National EMS Week has been a great week for our crew. The outpouring of love and support from our community is amazing. It is the reason we strive to serve our community with the highest standard of care.

In honor of National EMS Week , we’d like to take a moment and highlight our Director, Tiffany Prior. Tiffany is an amazing person who would do anything for anyone; at any time. She is a shining example of what leadership should be. From coordinating crews, to covering open shifts herself, to checking in on our people personally when she knows there is something going on in their lives. We wouldn’t be the strong team that we are without Tiffany’s leadership.

This morning, Tiffany served the crew by making homemade biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

For the second time in a week, we received a note from a patient regarding their care along with their payment. These words of encouragement end up being what fuels our providers when they are having a rough day.
Our providers have answered the call into the medical field for many different reasons. They set the bar high for themselves and continue to strive to reach that next goal or certification.
Thank you to those patients whom have taken the time to encourage our providers. You are the reason they continue to strive to be the best they can be.
