🍝 Spaghetti + Tape + String + A Marshmallow = TEAMWORK! 🍡
Who knew a few simple supplies could create such a BIG challenge?! 😄
Our students took on the Marshmallow Challenge, working in teams to see who could build the tallest freestanding structure using only spaghetti noodles, tape, string, and one marshmallow. 🏗️
But this challenge was about much more than building towers! Along the way, students practiced important active listening and interpersonal skills by:
👂 Listening to their teammates’ ideas
💬 Communicating respectfully
🤝 Cooperating and sharing responsibilities
💡 Combining different ideas
🔄 Adjusting when a plan didn’t work
🧩 Working together to solve problems
🧠 The BIG Lesson
Students discovered that successful teamwork takes communication, cooperation, flexibility, and a willingness to listen. Sometimes the best idea isn't just your idea—it’s what happens when everyone’s ideas come together!
And, of course… a little friendly competition never hurts! 😉🏆
