🐾 PUBLIC ANIMAL SHELTER FORUM UPDATE

We are one step closer to having everything confirmed!

Today we spoke with Emanuel County Commissioner Jim Sherrod and Police Chief Riner, and BOTH have confirmed:

A HUGE thank you again to the wonderful local small business owners at Lynn and Bob’s for graciously offering their restaurant FREE OF CHARGE so our community can come together for this important conversation. ❤️

We also called City Administrator Herman Middlebrooks’ office at 10:00 this morning. He had not yet arrived at the office, so we left a voicemail and are waiting to hear back from him to confirm the date and time.

Once Mr. Middlebrooks confirms, WE WILL BEGIN THE NEXT STEP.

We will gather all of the questions you have submitted, combine duplicate questions and organize them by topic. The complete list will then be provided to our participating officials TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE FORUM.

That is intentional.

We do not want anyone put on the spot or expected to know every number, policy or detail from memory. We want our officials to have time to research the questions, gather the correct information and come prepared with answers for the public.

As soon as we receive that final confirmation, we will officially announce the forum and begin putting the questions together.

We asked our community to get involved, and you certainly have. ❤️🐾
