Our beaches are a gift, not a trash can.
Over the last two weekends, our DPW crews and residents have had to spend time cleaning up large amounts of litter left behind at our beaches. While we appreciate their hard work, this should not be happening.

Please remember to clean up after yourselves and help us protect the coastline we all love. Carry in, carry out. Use the trash barrels provided. Respect the beach, wildlife, neighbors, and fellow visitors.

Please note: littering fines are in place and will be enforced.

Let’s all do our part to keep Swampscott clean, safe, and beautiful this summer. 🌊♻️

Ready to level up your game? Whether you’re just getting started or looking to sharpen your skills, our upcoming pickleball clinics are the perfect way to improve, compete, and have fun on the court!
