Join us at the Health Department for "Save a Life Day" on Sept 24 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and learn how to use and get free Naloxone. Naloxone is an easy-to-use nasal spray that can reverse an opioid overdose. You do not need to know or be an opioid user to have this. But just having it with you may save someone else's life!

The Fairfield convenience site is closed again today due to flooding.

Brightspeed experienced a fiber cut near Waves. Communication services to the south of that area are impacted, including Ocracoke. Crews are on-site working to restore services. We do not have an estimated restoration time.
