Now more than ever, as citizens we must be involved, engaged and VOTE! That is especially true for our new generation of rising citizens.

John Lewis famously said, “Democracy is not a state. It is an act, and each generation must do its part….” In other words, democracy is not a spectator sport. It requires continual work to protect it and keep it strong. And the best way to protect and strengthen our democracy is to participate in it!

We’re excited to announce that the club will be hosting monthly public meetings from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at the Logan Library. These meetings will continue on the second Tuesday of every month. Residents of Woolwich, as well as neighboring towns in Gloucester County, are encouraged to attend! This month’s meeting will be on April 14th!

These meetings will be in-person, unless otherwise noted. This will give us a chance to provide a consistent time and place to host activities, campaign organizing, letter writing and mailing, and Get-Out-the-Vote efforts. We want to create a community where we all can come together - feel free to come and go as you please!

The Woolwich Township Democrats Club Executive Board is in the process of endorsing a candidate for New Jersey CD-02. They have scheduled interviews with the candidates to take place on March 26 and 27th, 2026. Candidates will be virtually interviewed over the course of 45 minutes, and will be asked similar questions by the Executive Board. We want to be transparent with our members, as well as residents in the district. We're publishing a Google Form for folks to request the video link to observe the interviews.
