Yesterday, our Sweeny High School Agricultural Engineering sophomores attended the ABC Construction Career Expo in Freeport, TX!

Students had the opportunity to explore different skilled trades, interact with industry professionals, and gain hands-on exposure to careers in the construction and petrochemical industries.

This experience helped students better understand their options as they prepare to select their educational pathways for their junior year, whether through dual-credit courses, industry certifications, or specialized technical training.

A big thank you to ABC and all participating industry professionals for investing in our students' futures!

The Bulldog Book Club met today to continue their discussion of Anatomy: A Love Story. The main character wants to become a doctor, so she teaches herself about teas and plants and their medicinal uses. Students had the opportunity to sample several herbal teas and “eyeball” cupcakes as they connected their activity to the book.

Day 2 – Coach Juneau’s Forensics classes used their personalized IDs to access the “crime scene.” Once inside, students put their investigative skills to work, lifting fingerprints from a variety of surfaces left behind at the scene of the crime.

🐾 Introducing Bulldog Basics! 💙

Our A/V Practicum students have been hard at work creating Bulldog Basics, a video series designed to help our youngest Bulldogs in Mrs Genella’s ECSE class learn important everyday skills!

From washing hands and cleaning up to using utensils and learning how to share, these videos break down everyday routines into simple, easy-to-follow steps that help build independence and confidence.

This project is a great example of how learning goes beyond the classroom. Our students are using their creativity, communication, and production skills to create something meaningful that can make a difference for younger students in our district.

We are proud to see our Practicum students using their talents to serve others and show what it means to be a Bulldog! 🐾

Big Bulldogs helping little Bulldogs — because we’re all part of the same pack! 💙🤍
