Grandparents' and Grandfriends' Day Information!

Grandparents’ Day is Coming!

We are so excited to celebrate the special grandparents and grandfriends who hold such an important place in the lives of our little Bulldogs!

Join us September 8–11 for lunch with your grandchild and a special visit to our Scholastic Book Fair in the library.

You will enter through the front on Mrs. Berry’s side.

Please see the flyer for the lunch schedule and details. We can’t wait to welcome our grandparents and grandfriends to Sweeny Elementary!

Sweeny ISD Families:

Recent forecasts for Tropical Depression #5 indicate that the system is expected to remain mostly east of our area. However, we could experience periods of rainfall between 1-2 inches beginning Tuesday afternoon.

At this time, Sweeny ISD anticipates following our regular school schedule on Tuesday, September 1.

As always, please use your best judgment when deciding whether travel to and from school is appropriate, and prioritize the safety of your family.

We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will communicate with our families if there are any changes to the school day.
