🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗

Did you know that approximately 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer during their lifetime? Early detection can save lives! Regular screenings, knowing your body, and recognizing changes are important steps toward protecting your health.

💗 To the fighters, survivors, and those we have lost, your strength and courage will never be forgotten.

At the Sweetwater Police Department, our commitment to protecting our community goes beyond the badge. We stand beside those fighting breast cancer, celebrate the survivors, and honor the lives lost. You are not alone in this fight. We stand with you, today and always. 💙🎀

Together, we wear pink. Together, we raise awareness. Together, we stand strong! 💪🏼💗

Dariel Fernandez, Miami-Dade County Tax Collector, was joined by Sweetwater PD and other local law enforcement to officially introduce PERMiO. ♿️

We are proud to collaborate with other agencies and community advocates to support this innovative new system. PERMiO not only digitizes the application process but also introduces critical security safeguards to ensure Disabled Person Parking Permits are used correctly. 🖥️✅ This streamlines everything for our residents and strengthens our efforts to protect these privileges.
Working together to innovate and better serve our community.
