Today, members of the Christianburg Volunteer Fire Department had the honor of attending the 2026 Tennessee Fire Department Grant Programs Awards Luncheon, funded by the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office.

During the luncheon, our department was officially presented with a check for $53,788.00!

We are extremely honored and grateful to receive this funding. This grant allows us to continue modernizing our equipment and resources, improving firefighter safety, and strengthening our operational readiness so we can better serve and protect our community.

For a volunteer fire department, funding like this makes a tremendous difference. Every improvement we make helps ensure our firefighters have the equipment and resources they need when our community calls.

💧🚒 EXCITING NEWS FOR CHRISTIANBURG VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT! 🚒💧

We are excited to announce that Christianburg Volunteer Fire Department has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 DripDrop Hydration Giveback Campaign!

Keeping our firefighters hydrated is extremely important, especially while working long calls, training, and operating in the summer heat. This generous donation will help ensure our members have the hydration support they need while serving our community.

We are truly blessed and grateful to DripDrop and the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) for supporting volunteer firefighters and departments like ours.

Christianburg Fire Department responded to a small camper fire. Our members worked quickly to get the fire under control and prevent further damage.

We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to our members who answered the call and worked hard on scene. We also want to thank Monroe County Brush Truck 1 for assisting us, as well as all of the supporters of the Christianburg Fire Department who continue to stand behind our department and our firefighters.

Your support means more than you know. We are proud to serve our community and grateful to have such great people beside us.

Christianburg Volunteer Fire Department is incredibly grateful to be the recipient of a grant from Colonial Pipeline. Their continued support allows us to better protect the citizens and visitors of our community.

This grant funded the purchase of a new AIR3 foam system, along with 10 gallons of FireBull Class A/B foam concentrate. The AIR3 system is capable of producing up to 60 gallons of finished foam, giving our firefighters a highly effective tool for quickly controlling and extinguishing fires.

This equipment will be carried on one of our quick response vehicles, allowing us to deploy it rapidly when every second counts. Investments like this improve firefighter safety, enhance our emergency response capabilities, and help us better serve the community.

Thank you, Colonial Pipeline, for your continued commitment to supporting volunteer fire departments and helping us keep our community safe. We truly appreciate your partnership and generosity.
