Sweetwater ISD is proud to celebrate these exceptional educators for earning the prestigious Master Teacher designation through the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program:

To earn this distinguished recognition, at least 70% of each teacher’s students demonstrated expected academic growth, and each teacher earned an outstanding 4.5 average score on Domains 2 and 3 of the TTESS evaluation system.

Today we proudly recognize the incredible work of Sweetwater ISD’s Speech-Language Pathologists!

Our speech pathologists play a vital role in helping students find their voices, build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Through their dedication, patience, and expertise, they make a lasting impact on the lives of students every single day. Whether helping a child say their first sounds clearly, improving language development, or supporting social communication skills, their work changes lives in meaningful ways.

Sweetwater ISD will follow an Early Release Schedule on:

📅 Tuesday, May 19
📅 Wednesday, May 20
📅 Thursday, May 21

Release Times:
Southeast Elementary, East Ridge Elementary & Sweetwater Intermediate — 12:30 PM
Sweetwater Middle School & Sweetwater High School — 12:35 PM

Buses will begin running at 12:30 PM.

We’re wrapping up the school year with a little extra sunshine and a lot of Mustang pride!

Please make plans for transportation and pickup. Let’s finish these final days strong, Mustangs!
