On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, some unknown person(s) committed a robbery at the Lucky Clover game room and stole a large amount of money. The person(s) who committed the robbery drove away in a black Jeep SUV that was not displaying any license plates. If you or someone you know has any information about the robbery, report it here on Crime Stoppers. Velasquez has been on the run and hiding to avoid detection by law enforcement. Velasquez has several active felony warrants for his arrest. On Saturday, December 14, 2024, a Nolan County Sheriff's Office Deputy responded to County Road 116 near the Nolan/Mitchell County Line in reference to a RV camper trailer being burned down and discarded in the middle of the roadway. The Deputy arrived on scene and initiated an investigation where it was found the RV was purposefully burned and discarded in the roadway. Law Enforcement is actively searching for Ruben Alexandro Underwood. Underwood is a 42-year-old male, 5’07’, 130 pounds, having black hair and black eyes. Underwood was last known to reside around the 700 block of East Oklahoma Avenue in Sweetwater.

Underwood is wanted on several active warrants for his arrest. 1st Warrant is for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) less than 1 Gram, a Felony offense. 2ND Warrant is for Possession of Ma*****na less than 2 ounces, a Misdemeanor offense.

On Thursday, January 11, 2024, the Sweetwater Police Department received a report of a theft that occurred at Brooks Diesel Service in the 9500 block of Interstate Twenty, in Sweetwater. It was reported that sometime between Thursday, January 4, 2024, and Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 6:00PM, an unknown person(s) used force to enter a building on the property. Once inside, the thieve(s) took numerous hand, air, and power tools, a toolbox and two semi-truck tractors. The combined value of the property taken and damage to the property is estimated at approximately $100,000.00.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 7:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, some unknown suspect(s) stole a trailer containing a welder from Blackwell, Texas. Since then, the suspect(s) sold the stolen trailer to another person who also became a victim of theft. The vehicle shown in this photo appears to be a dark colored older model Ford F-150 extended cab with a sun damaged roof and after market wheels. If you know who this vehicle belongs to or have seen this vehicle, let us know. It was reported that sometime between Friday, April 28, 2023, at 6:00PM and Monday, May 1, 2023, at 3:00PM, an unknown person(s) used force to enter the property. Once inside, the thieve(s) took numerous new duel tandem trailer tires mounted on new steel wheels. The combined value of the wheels and tires taken and damage to the property is estimated at approximately $4,500.00.

Hardy is wanted on several outstanding warrants for his arrest. 1st Warrant – Bail Jumping and Fail to Appear. 2nd Warrant – Unauthorized Absence from a Community Corrections Facility. 3rd Warrant – Burglary of Habitation (House) Intend Other Felony.
