Several of the counties were added, and will continue to be added under burn bans over the next several days with very little rain chances in the forecast  conditions are still very dry and will stay that way please refrain from burning outdoors until the burn band is lifted.

The Swifton Fire Department sends thoughts and prayers out to the Slagley family. Paul became a member of the Swifton Fire Department several years ago, earning his ranks up to captain and served the citizens of Swifton for many of years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Slagley family.
