ISO: Masonry Contractor

JMFD is looking for a local company or individual who can provide masonry work for our an LED sign project.
The project will include construction of a masonry base for a LED sign and incorporate a new flag pole and landscaping as part of the overall design. We are looking for someone who can provide a professional quote and work with us to create an attractive entrance for the fire station.

A huge thank you to the community member who nominated Jefferson-Monroe Fire Department to receive a box of electrolytes!

With the extreme heat we've been experiencing, and during physically demanding responses such as motor vehicle accidents and fires, these will help our firefighters and EMS personnel replace the fluids and electrolytes lost while serving our community.

We are incredibly grateful for your thoughtfulness and support. Thank you for helping keep our members healthy and ready to respond! 🚒❤️

7/17/26 14:08 Jefferson Monroe Fire Department was dispatched to a building fire on Coral Ave.
Swisher 212 responded with support from our mutual aid departments Solon Fire Department, North Liberty Fire Department, Area Ambulance Service and Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
No fire or smoke showing externally upon arrival but crews located smoke in the kitchen from an appliance and involved cabinets. Fire was contained to room of origin. Thick coat of smoke damage throughout entire house. No injuries were reported, however two residents and their pets were displaced.

Thank you to our mutual aid partners for always having our backs! Big shout out to Joint Emergency Communications Center - JECC 911 for their rapid dispatch of resources and information they gathered to aid in our response.

Keeping our equipment and our skills ready.

Last night our firefighters completed tank inspections, making sure our water tanks are in top condition and ready when they’re needed most.

We also took advantage of the opportunity to get in some valuable pump training, allowing our operators to sharpen their skills and ensure our apparatus performs at its best.

Training never stops, and every opportunity to practice helps us provide the best service possible to our community.

We had some special guests join us for the 4th of July Parade today!

We’re wishing both teams the best this weekend… allegedly. But come on. One team is literally called The Firefighters. You know where our loyalty is. As for The Savannah Bananas...stay safe out there.
