At last week's School Board meeting, we honored Mrs. Brandy Knight as our 2025-2026 Support Staff of the Year! As our school's bookkeeper, Brandy's official title barely scratches the surface of the remarkable contributions she makes to our BGMS community every single day. She wears countless hats with grace and expertise, seamlessly moving from financial management to event planning to problem-solving, all while maintaining an infectious sense of humor and genuine kindness that touches everyone around her. Brandy's unwavering investment in the success of our entire school—students, staff, and families alike—is evident in everything she does.

Brandy's ability to get things done to perfection, combined with her collaborative spirit and willingness to help plan and execute school initiatives, makes her an indispensable part of our team. Those who know Brandy also know that she is one of the most fun and uplifting people you will ever encounter, bringing joy and positivity to even the most challenging days. Brandy Knight is truly a gift to this entire community, and we are deeply honored to recognize her as our support staff of the year recipient. Thank you, Brandy, for all you do for Buffalo Gap Middle School! You make us BISON STRONG!

We have such an amazing nurse and such an amazing BCC!

Yesterday was School Nurse Day, and we made sure our very own Nurse Abby felt just how appreciated she is! 💙🩺

From ice packs and bandages to kind words and calming nerves, Nurse Abby does so much more than care for bumps and bruises. She provides a safe, welcoming, and loving space for our students every single day — and we’re pretty sure she has a little magic when it comes to helping everyone feel better! ✨

Thank you, Abby, for the compassion, patience, and care you show our Bison family each day. We are so grateful for everything you do for our students and staff! 💐
