📢A Quick Reminder: Early Closure on August 28

Sycamore Public Library will be open Friday, August 28 from 9 AM–1 PM and will close at 1 PM for staff development and facility care.

Calling all Beyblade masters! Join us for a Beyblade Turbo Tops Tournament on Sunday, August 30, from 2–3:30 PM at Sycamore Public Library.

Bring your favorite Beyblades and stadiums and battle it out with fellow Blade Breakers in an afternoon of friendly competition and fun!

Designed for grades K–6, but all Beyblade-loving kids (and their grownups) are welcome. No registration needed.

The Sycamore Public Library will close at 1 PM on Friday, August 28 for staff development and facility care.

We’ll be back to our regular hours on Saturday, August 29, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

🐾Happy National Dog Day!🐾

Today, we’re celebrating some of the special pups who have visited the Sycamore Public Library through Doggie Day Out, our partnership with Tails Humane Society!

Library staff have opened their workdays to foster these sweet dogs, giving them a chance to spend time with people, enjoy some extra attention, and hopefully find their forever homes.🐕📚

We’ve loved getting to know each of these furry friends and watching them bring a little extra joy to the library community.

Here’s to all the pups still waiting for their people!

It’s all part of our Beyond Books Collection, which gives our community access to more of the things you can use, explore, create, and enjoy through your library.

Because Sycamore Public Library is more than books. It’s a community resource, made for sharing.
