💙📚 Celebrating Our Friends of the Library! 📚💙

At Sycamore Public Library, we are so grateful for our Friends of the Sycamore Library and the many ways they support our library and community!

From their annual book sales and community fundraisers to their advocacy and support of our staff, the Friends make a difference all year long. From providing bounce houses for our Pumpkin Celebration at the Sycamore Library to sponsoring candy for this Sunday's parade, their generosity extends beyond our library walls and into the community🎃🍬

To our Friends, thank you for your generosity, hard work, and enthusiasm for Sycamore Public Library. Your support helps us connect with our community, celebrate together, and continue making the library a special place for everyone.

National Friends of the Library Week gives us a wonderful opportunity to recognize all you do, but our appreciation lasts all year long. We’re proud to have you in our corner and couldn’t do it without you!💙📖

Thank You, Kim!

After 11 years of dedicated service to Sycamore Public Library, our Director, Kim Halsey, is beginning an exciting new chapter at another library.

Saying goodbye is never easy, especially to someone who has given so much to our library and community. Kim’s leadership and dedication have helped shape Sycamore Public Library over the past 11 years, and her contributions have made a lasting impact. She will be greatly missed by our staff and the community she has served.

On behalf of our library staff, thank you, Kim, for all you have given to Sycamore Public Library. We are grateful for your years of service and wish you every happiness and success in this next chapter!

As we look ahead, the Board of Trustees has begun the search for our next Executive Director. Assistant Director Jill Carter will serve as Interim Director during the search to support continuity for our staff and patrons.

Please join us in wishing Kim all the best in her new role. Thank you for 11 wonderful years, Kim! You will always be part of the Sycamore Public Library family. 💙📚
