Join the Sycamore Orchestra Program!
Beginning in 4th grade, students can join the Sycamore Orchestra Program and learn to play violin, viola, cello, or bass. Beginning students receive a 30-minute small-group lesson once a week during the school day and participate in 45-minute large-group rehearsals every other week after school.

Students and families are invited to Sign-Up Night on Wednesday, September 2, from 3:30-6:30 PM at Sycamore Middle School. This open house will give students the opportunity to try all four instruments and rent an instrument. The monthly rental fee is the only cost for families. There is no school fee to join!

The first few days of school at Southeast were amazing! Thanks to the gorgeous weather, students enjoyed extra time outside.
On Friday, our second annual Spartan Way Launch was a great reminder of playground rules & expectations. Parent volunteers and staff participation made the event possible, and we are so grateful for our Southeast family🖤💛💜

Daisies, a monarch, the color purple💜 This mural has so much meaning to our Southeast family. Thank you, Mrs. Katz, for helping us honor our dear friend and colleague, Mrs. Beth Foose. In May, every Southeast student had the opportunity to paint a section of this mural, which makes it that much more special - and now, it is complete and ready to greet students this week🖤💛💜

Southeast staff is so excited to welcome students this week! See you Tuesday evening for supply drop-off and Thursday (it’s a late start!) for our very first day of the 2026-2027 school year🖤💛💜 We can’t wait to see you!

Due to the Air Quality Alert in our region, today's Popsicles on the Playground event - Thursday, July 16, from 1:00-2:00 PM - will be moved indoors to the Southeast Elementary School gymnasium.

We look forward to seeing you this afternoon for an opportunity to connect, enjoy a popsicle, and have some fun in a safe, comfortable environment!
