Big shout out to the ladies who I met at our animal shelter today. They are such animal lovers and care deeply for each of them! Made an unexpected drop off of a puppy that was abandoned at our house today. If you’re looking for a lab mix puppy she is a cute one and waiting for you at the shelter!!

Today was municipal government day!! Big shout out to city council members Tim Vincent, Nate Brewer and Mayor, Matt Hubbard . Unfortunately two could not join us, Tiffany Nix and Laura Bartow Heath. We have a devoted team behind us moving our city forward. Thank you to all of them for their dedication and hard work.

I have spent the last three days learning about municipal governance. The league of municipalities hosted their annual conference in Montgomery and I was the only one who attended. It was a wealth of information and I have met some wonderful other municipal leaders from all over our great state. You want to know a few things that were said about our city?!
“You have such a pretty downtown “
“Oh we love the marble festival “
“Oh I hear good things are coming to sylacauga “

It’s always nice to hear good things about our city. Yes we have lots to do but we have a good foundation to work from. Join us and get involved. We have openings for several boards in our community and it’s time for some new faces to step up and help us move our city forward. Private message me if you want more information.

What an amazing even today at our prestigious hospital CVMC celebrating ten years of our partnership with New Vision. They have served our community well. Thank you to all that have played a hand in their success! Here’s to the next ten years of bringing hope to those who are struggling. May God continue to move in our city!!
