Yesterday Southwestern Nurse Family Partnership along with The Birthstone Center for Appalachian Perinatal Resilience had the privilege of hosting an infant feeding class called "Skip The Mush: Baby's First Foods". Together we explored safe first solid foods to offer, hands on opportunities to practice how to safely prep and serve foods based on the childs age, and staff support as some of these families offered solid foods to their child for the first time! We had so much fun watching these families learn and these children explore!
