FYI for our Franklin area clients

This Fresh Access Franklin kiosk at First United Methodist Church on Harrison Avenue is one of three around town that provides free food and includes a solar-powered refrigerator. The other two are located at Vecinos on the 441 Bypass (Sylva Road) and at Smoky Mountain Harm Reduction on Georgia Road.

The Franklin Farm Hub and International Friendship Center partnered with the church and nonprofits to make the kiosks available for those who need food assistance. Food donations are welcome with donation instructions posted at the sites. A grant from Dogwood Trust helped fund the project.

The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline offers 24/7 access to trained crisis counselors who can provide judgment-free support for mental health, substance use, and more.
