Sylva Garden Club Meets first Tuesday of the month at 46 Presbyterian Drive (in the church) beginning 9:30 a.m. SGC is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Join Us! Learn and Grow!

The Sylva Garden Club is a non-profit, educational, and philanthropic organization open to all who have an interest in gardening. A "green" thumb is not required. Come learn about gardening and participate in the Club's various projects.

The guest speaker is Sylva Garden Club' member Carol Schilling. Her topic is planting a backyard experimental vineyard.

Pecans for holiday baking and gift giving! The Sylva Garden Club's annual fundraiser is on! Proceeds from pecan sales are used to support the SGC's scholarships to SCC and WCU and downtown beautification projects. All bags are 12oz. Price for plain halves is $10 per bag. Price for milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and caramel clusters is $12 per bag. Caramel clusters will be available in a few days.
The specialty pecans are packaged to be given as gifts.

Participating merchants are City Lights Cafe, Country Roads Farms, Krismart Fashions, Ray's Florist & Greenhouse, and Tuckaseegee Trading Co.

The Sylva Garden Club will meet on Tuesday, December 7 beginning at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall of the Sylva Presbyterian Church. Following the business meeting, member Becky Lipkin will lead attendees in creating holiday bundles for December birthday recipients of Jackson County Senior Center Meals on Wheels and to take home. The Sylva Garden Club is hosting its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 5 beginning at 9:30am. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Sylva Presbyterian Church. Please wear a mask.

Refreshments will be served prior to the business meeting to begin at 10:00am. Starting at 11:00am, SGC member Kathy Montgomery, a long time professional landscaper and gardener, will demonstrate creating a floral arrangement using fresh flowers. She will address: design, materials, tools, conditioning, sources, holiday themes, and flowers that work well in floral arrangements as well as those that do not.

The Sylva Garden Club is hosting a potluck luncheon on Tuesday, August 3 from 10:30am - 12:30pm. The luncheon will be held at the beautiful Bicentennial Park! The will be a dedication of a Native Fringe tree in memory of Sylva Garden Club lifetime member Polly Wilson.
