Jackson County Commissioners declared September as Jackson County Opioid Awareness Month!

Opioid addiction can affect anyone, in any community. This month, we’re raising awareness, reducing stigma, and reminding our community that help, hope, and recovery are possible.

Know the signs. Talk openly. Support recovery. And most importantly, remember that people struggling with substance use are people—not their addiction.

Together, we can prevent overdose deaths, connect people to resources, and build a healthier, stronger community.
