Worth County Probate Court Worth County Probate Court is a court of limited jurisdiction responsible for the probating or proving of all wills of Worth County residents.

The Probate Court also handles vital records (birth & death records from 1919 to present), marriage licenses, fi****ms licenses, estates, guardianships of minors and incapacitated adults, involuntary treatment of persons suffering from mental illness and/or drugs or alcohol along with numerous miscellaneous duties. The Probate Court is committed to serving the general public and all citizens of Wo

rth County by creating an environment of equality, fairness and integrity, as well as excellent customer service. We will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about the services of this office or the procedures you must follow for a particular process. Please be advised, however, that state law prohibits our staff from rendering legal advice, restating the law or recommending specific ways to pursue legal action. It is never our intent to seem unhelpful or uncooperative. If you have a problem involving the interpretation of the law, we suggest you contact an attorney licensed in the State of Georgia.
