The story of "Londyn's Love"
So, my 9-year-old daughter Londyn, for a while has had it on her heart to do something special in regards to giving back. God placed on her heart to feed the homeless.
So, she asked us to help start up her project. She took $25 dollars of her allowance she saved and asked if we would match the amount. She was able to make 23 goodie bags. Her goodie bag consisted of a PBJ sandwich, a granola bar, a bottle of water, an apple, a bag of cookies and a bag of chips.
Today, was the first start of hopefully many more times to come in the future. She had a wonderful experience meeting with the homeless and giving her special treat bags away. At one point, a women asked Londyn to pray for her. So right then and there Londyn prayed for all of them. To hear your child, break out in prayer for strangers was remarkable. She inspires all of us each day with her kindness to do better. Watching her was amazing! She now fully understands the true act of Christianity, is to spread it with a God giving Christian heart.
Her experience was so overwhelming, that she looked at me and said "Mom, we have to do more"! She wants to be able to go and do this once a week. She is reaching out for encouraging words and donations.
On her page will be a list of items we use to put into the goodie bags. However, whatever you would like to donate is appreciated and will be used towards the cause. We can come to you to pick the items up or you can message me to drop off. Thank you for being a part of Londyn's Love.
