🎭❄️ The Bright Futures After School Youth Group, from County South Family Resource Center, recently celebrated the end of the school year with a special trip to Syracuse Stage to see Disney's Frozen!

Experiences like live theater are about more than entertainment. Studies have shown that exposing young people to live performances can help build empathy by allowing them to connect with characters and emotions in a meaningful way. Seeing stories come to life on stage creates opportunities for learning, understanding, and growth.

A special thank you to Tracey White and the team at Syracuse Stage for helping make this experience possible. They always make our group feel welcome and ensure our students have an unforgettable visit. ❤️

🎓💙 Congratulations to the fathers who completed the 2025-2026 Fatherhood with PEACE program!

Throughout the year, these dedicated fathers supported one another, built lasting connections, and gained valuable life lessons to help strengthen their families and communities. What began as a program has grown into an ongoing support network, a testament to the bonds they created along the way.

We are incredibly proud of everything these fathers have accomplished for themselves and their children.

A special moment from the graduation was welcoming Augustus Grissett Jr. to the celebration in honor of his father, Augustus Grissett Sr., who helped organize and lead the Fatherhood with PEACE program. Inviting Augustus Jr. allowed him to see firsthand the positive impact his father's work has had on so many fathers and families throughout our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's program a success. We look forward to seeing the continued impact these fathers will have for years to come. 💙
